Spurred On By Win

The impressive result against Tottenham at the weekend could be the catalyst for City to re-find some of last season’s title winning won.
The 2-1 win for City was engineered by striking duo Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero. Despite Spurs’ youngster Steven Caulker getting the opening goal of the game, the Premier League Champions replied through Sergio Aguero in the second half and that leveller was followed up by Edin Dzeko in the 88th minute.
This momentum that City have gained by beating one of the the top clubs in the league could aid the players to uncover some great form. The return of the Spanish David Silva into the starting line-up could be the difference between City creating golden opportunities and not getting enough attacking chances.
With David Silva in the side, City seem fluid and relaxed in possession. Compare that to the state of the midfield in recent weeks, where passing seemed forced and ideas were non-existent, keeping Silva fit has to be a priority.
