Johnson’s sorry demise hits new saddening low

Trawl through the pages of any national newspaper today and you will be reminded of a talent that would seem so distant in the memory that his latest achievements will now be reported in the front regions of tabloid and not the back. News of Adam Johnson’s potential exit from Manchester City will understandably take precedence over his namesake who should be demanding the same hype and clamour for City’s outgoing winger who has realistic ambitions of making it into the England squad.
